Amy BennettAmy graduated with honors from The University of Texas Medical Branch in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. In 2002 she earned a Graduate Certificate in Manipulative Therapy from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. She began teaching with Brian Mulligan in 1998 and was fully accredited as a Mulligan Concept Instructor in 2002 by the international body of the Mulligan Concept Teachers Association in Rome, Italy. She currently works for Fidelity Health Care in Dayton, OH.

Patricia BlackI did my undergraduate work at Boston University graduated in 1989 with a Masters in Orthopedics at Quinnipac College. I became a certifed Mulligan Teacher in 2001. I am currently working at Yale New Haven Hospital in the outpatient department and have using the Mulligan Concept in my practice since 1990.

Rick CrowellRick Crowell is a 1993 graduate of Curtin University’s postgraduate program in manipulative therapy, Perth, Australia. He received his post-professional Master’s Degree in 1986 from Georgia State University in orthopedic physical therapy. Rick has extensive educational and clinical training in manual therapy. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He is currently practicing, teaching, and conducting research in Mobilization with Movement. Rick is a adjunct professor at the College of St. Scholastica in addition to his clinical practice. He has worked with Brian Mulligan since 1994, is an accredited teacher in the Mulligan Concept and has conducted courses in both the United States and Brazil.

Geoff FoatGeoff graduated with a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy at the University of Cape Town, South Africa in 1988. He continued on to complete a post-graduate Honors degree in Sport Science at UCT Bioenergetics of Exercise Research Unit, graduating in 1989. In 1991 he moved to Connecticut and since 1998 has been managing the physical therapy department of Center for Orthopedics, P.C., a multi-site Orthopedic practice. He graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2002 with an MS in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and is also certified by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist. Geoff has been involved with the Mulligan Concept since 1996, and received full teaching credentials with the Mulligan Concept Teacher’s Association in Rome, Italy, in 2002. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Brian FolkMr. Folk graduated with “great distinction” from the Physical Therapy Program at California State University, Long Beach in 1987. He first became acquainted with Brian Mulligan in 1996 and has assisted Mr. Mulligan on courses since 1998. He received full accreditation as an instructor in the Mulligan Concept Teachers Association in 2001. He is currently the Secretary of the International Mulligan Concept Teachers Association as well as Chairman of the North American MCTA Certified Mulligan Practitioner Examination Committee. He is a graduate of the Kaiser Permanente Orthopedic Manual Therapy Fellowship and currently serves as an adjunct instructor in the Fellowship program. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists. He has worked in outpatient orthopedic clinics since 1988 and currently works as an outpatient Clinical Specialist at Kaiser Permanente in San Marcos California. Frank GarganoFrank Gargano graduated from Ohio University in 1990 with dual degrees in Physical Therapy and Biological Sciences. In 1999 he became Board Certified in Orthopedics through the American Physical Therapy Association; in 2002 he received his clinical doctorate in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He is one of thirty eight Physical Therapists internationally certified to teach Brian Mulligan’s concept “Mobilization With Movement.” He is a national speaker on orthopedic topics and provides advanced educational seminars across the country. He is active in clinical research with a specialty interest in cervical spine disorders as they relate to headaches, dizziness and pain. In 2004 he was the recipient of the award for outstanding clinical excellence in recognition of his contribution to the practice of Physical Therapy. In 1994 Frank opened Rehabilitex Inc.; a private practice clinic in Solon, Ohio and in 2001 he was a founding partner of the Workability Network, a statewide network of rehabilitation professionals that provide industrial rehabilitation services. He serves as an expert witness for medical-legal case review in the area of rehabilitation. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists, the Orthopedic and Private Practice Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association.

He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport . Jim MillardJim graduated from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada in 1991 with a BSc(PT). Credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) by McKenzie Institute in 1996. Received Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy(CAN) and IFOMT status in 2000. Jim has been assisting Jack Miller with the Mulligan Concept in Canada since 1997 and passed the teacher certification examination in Vancouver in 2007. Jim presently resides in London, Ontario , Canada. He is part owner of Body Mechanics Physiotherapy a private practice in London. He also keeps busy coaching hockey and traveling the North American countryside with his family.

Jack MillerJack spent six years practicing Physiotherapy in New Zealand where he completed the New Zealand Manipulative Therapy Association's (NZMTA) post-graduate Diploma program in 1984. He has worked as a teaching assistant to Brian Mulligan and taught Brian's courses independently since 1990 throughout the Caribbean and North America. He is fully accredited by the Mulligan Concept Teacher's Association (MCTA) and currently holds lecturer status at the University Of Toronto Faculty Of Medicine. Jack is the past Secretary of the MCTA International, authored articles and book chapters on the Mulligan Concept, the current editor of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association's Orthopedic Division Review Journal and is completing his Masters of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy with a focus on the effects of manual therapy on functional biomechanics.

Julie PaolinoJulie is a graduate of Quinnipiac College in Hamden, Connecticut, where she also obtained her advanced Master’s Degree in orthopedic physical therapy. She has over fifteen years of clinical experience in orthopedics and sports medicine and is currently a director of an outpatient facility in Manchester, Connecticut. Julie is an Associate Professor at Quinnipiac College’s advanced master’s program in orthopedic Physical Therapy and is a national educator for the Cyriax Model of evaluation and treatment. Julie has worked closely with Brian Mulligan and his manual techniques of “Mobilizations with Movement” and is the first woman in North America certified by Brian Mulligan, F.N.Z.S.P., (Hon.) Dip. M.T. and the Mulligan Concept Teacher’s Association to teach his concept.

Shelly Quirk PT, MCTA

Shelly QuirkShelly is a Springfield College graduate with a Bachelor's degree in teaching and a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. She later attained her MBA from Troy State before opening her private practice in Enfield CT. She has worked closely with Brian Mulligan and is a certified Mulligan Instructor who continuous to teach and practice hi manual techniques. Shelly resides in CT where she enjoys cycling, running and golf. Teaching the Mulligan Concept and working with other instructors has been an enjoyable process and continues to be a wonderful teaching experience.

Don ReordanDon is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1980. He is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist, certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He has twenty years of clinical experience emphasizing manual therapy, and currently is in independent practice in Jacksonville, Oregon. Russell WoodmanRussell is a professor of Physical Therapy at Quinnipiac University. He was director of the university’s 'Advanced Masters' in Physical Therapy from 1988 to 2007. He practices at Montowese Rehabilitation Center in North Haven, Ct. In 1980, Dr. Cyriax awarded him full teaching membership in the British Society of Orthopedic Medicine. He is also an APTA board certified orthopedic specialist and has published numerous articles. In 1997 Brian Mulligan certified Russell as a Mulligan Concept Teacher.
